Bio
Dr. Ralph Cipriano was drawn to the field of cardiovascular medicine after experiencing the sudden loss of a friend from a heart condition at an early age. It was then that he realized how important cardiovascular interventions can be for not only prolonging life, but also for saving life. He went on to become fellowship-trained in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease. As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Cipriano works closely with his patients to find the right combination of medical and lifestyle solutions to create cardiac care plans that promote heart health and wellness. His areas of clinical focus include cardiac catheterization and diagnostic imaging, such as electrocardiography and nuclear cardiology, for heart and vascular evaluation and treatment.
Dr. Cipriano earned his medical degree from St. George's School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his internal medicine residency at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa. Dr. Cipriano then completed his fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at New York University Langone Hospital - Long Island in Mineola, N.Y., and his interventional cardiology fellowship training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Fla. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians.
