Bio
Dr. Subodh Devabhaktuni specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation and supraventricular/ventricular tachycardia. He is board-certified and fellowship-trained in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, with a decade of experience in studying the heart's electrical activities and stroke prevention strategies. Dr. Devabhaktuni's clinical interests also encompass the use of physiologic pacing techniques, such as heart conduction system pacing and leadless pacing, for the management of Afib and stroke. He performs catheter ablations, implants pacemakers and defibrillators, and tailors medical therapy to each patient's unique needs.
Dr. Devabhaktuni previously served as associate professor of medicine in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences and as a cardiologist at Arkansas Children Hospital, both in the Little Rock area. He earned his medical degree in India before completing his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas. He completed his clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine - Krannert Institute of Cardiology in Indianapolis.
Dr. Devabhaktuni is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Rhythm Society. He is a member of the American Heart Association.
