Dr. Anoj Shahi is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist specializing in catheter-based treatments for structural heart disease, including arteriosclerosis (narrowing of the arteries), aneurysms, congenital heart defects and heart valve conditions. He uses a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques - including angioplasty, echocardiography, coronary thrombectomy, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), to assess cardiovascular disease and promote healthy blood flow.

Dr. Shahi graduated from medical school in Dharan, Nepal. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Ill. He went on to complete his interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Chan Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. Dr. Shahi is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He is multilingual, with proficiency in Nepalese and Hindi/Urdu.
