Samuel A. Nussbaumer, M.D., is a former chief of the Department of Internal Medicine at Texas Health Harris Methodist HEB Hospital. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, followed by his cardiology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center. His medical interests include interventional cardiology (including coronary and carotid intervention), and transesophageal echocardiography.
He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Nussbaumer is fellowship-trained in Cardiovascular Disease.
