Bio
John Lee, M.D., is fellowship-trained and board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography and vascular medicine. His areas of specialization include catheter-based treatments for coronary artery disease, cardiac imaging and peripheral vascular disease including complex coronary disease, carotid disease, and claudication. Lee graduated Cum Laude from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. While there, he received the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award in chemistry. He earned his medical degree from University of Southern California – Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles. While there, Lee was awarded the Stanley J. Sarnoff Endowment for Cardiovascular Sciences.
He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Lee completed clinical and research fellowships in cardiology at the University of California Los Angeles and his interventional cardiology fellowship at Texas Heart Institute, Baylor College of Medicine/St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital Program in Houston. He is twice the recipient of the Tibor Fabian Research Award from the David Geffen School of Medicine in UCLA’s STAR program. He is a Diplomat of the National Board of Echocardiography and a fellow in the American College of Cardiology.

Dr Lee is the best!!! He found the problem that I know saved my life. He is pleasant, thorough and professional. He will always be my hero. I always recommend him to anyone looking for a cardiologist.
