Bio
Dr. Saira Jamal is a board-certified family physician with advanced training in geriatric medicine. She began her medical career in 1996 working within an internal medicine clinic in Michigan City, Ind. She set down roots in North Texas in 2009. Prior to establishing herself in the DFW area, Dr. Jamal served as an assistant professor in Geriatric Medicine within the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La. Her areas of special clinical focus include hypertension, diabetes mellitus, asthma, obesity and medical weight loss, gynecological menopausal issues, geriatric disorders like polypharmacy, falls, depression, dementia/Alzheimer’s disease, failure to thrive, and osteoporosis care for the aging population.
Dr. Jamal earned her medical degree and completed an internal medicine residency program in Pakistan. She completed her family medicine residency at Methodist Hospital in Gary, Ind., and her geriatric medicine fellowship at LSU School of Medicine. Dr. Jamal is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and American Geriatrics Society.

Oct 2025This is the best clinic I have ever been to. Every single person from the front door to the back really cares and is genuinely happy to see me. Dr. Jamal is so patient and kind. She takes such time to ensure understanding of blood work, medication and care plan. She always takes time to show me what and why things in my bloodwork is concerning or why things are good. This entire office radiates kindness. From the time you call to make an appointment to the time you check out.
