Bio
Dr. Afeefa Chaudhry is board-certified in internal medicine and specializes in geriatric medicine. She began her medical career in 1997 working in the area of women's health. Dr. Chaudhry settled in North Texas in 2008 and previously worked for seven years in a senior care clinic in the Lewisville area before joining Texas Health Physicians Group in 2022. She is experienced in caring for patients with dementia and other challenging disorders associated with the aging population.
Dr. Chaudhry earned her medical degree at King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her internal medicine residency through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York City. She went on to complete a geriatric medicine fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. Dr. Chaudhry is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
