Samra Aman began her nursing career in 2008 working in the Houston, Texas area after serving for a time as a kindergarten teacher. She brought her clinical training and experience in family and internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiac care and women's health services to North Texas in 2016. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner and has in-depth experience caring for patients with chronic health conditions, including diabetes and kidney disease.
Samra earned both a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in nursing education from Texas Woman's University. She received her post-master's certificate as a family nurse practitioner from The University of Texas at Arlington. Samra describes herself as a lifelong learner who is extremely detail oriented. She is a proud Eritrean-American who is fluent in the East African language of Tigrinya.

Samra has great bedside manner and offers solutions to your problems. She is up on nutrition matters which is refreshing. You never feel rushed under her care and she's a good listener. She's a credit to this physicians' group.
