Bio
Dr. Shriya Doreswamy knew as a teen that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine after watching her mother struggle for years without a clear diagnosis for her rheumatoid arthritis. She became board-certified as an internal medicine physician in 2024. Her areas of clinical focus include specialty care for the ear, nose and throat due to her prior residency and training in ENT in India, and prevention and management of infectious and rare diseases. Dr. Doreswamy is a strong advocate for cancer and other preventative screening, especially in underserved populations. She also has a passion for providing quality heart and primary care services that help better her patients’ overall health.
Dr. Doreswamy earned her medical degree in India and completed her internal medicine residency at Einstein Medical Center in Montgomery, Pa. She speaks multiple languages, including Hindi, Kannada and Tamil.
