Dr. John Treer served in the United States Army and as a Texas Guard medic prior to earning his medical degree. He has been in practice in the Dallas area since 2000. Dr. Treer is a board-certified internal medicine physician with special interests in prevention-based medicine, immunology and treating cardiovascular disease. He is a member of the American Medical Association and Texas Medical Association.

I couldn't believe that every person on staff was better than the last!Sep 2025Dr. T took a lot of time addressing my multiple health issues. He made changes to my rx's; discontinuing a few. He reviewed bloodwork, CTs, pathology & other info to systematically address each issue. My worst issue was solved in 1 day after having seen a GI specialist for months. He referred me to specialists as needed and recommended OTC meds, followup bloodwork to help sift through the many problems I am currently having.This is the most thorough and caring doctor I've seen in 75 years.Sep 2025AttentiveSep 2025ThoroughSep 2025For me was pleasure to have an appointment with Dr. John Treer Jr, starting with the front desk lady, she was fast, nice, and polite, after the nurse [...], was very nice, very smart, and very efficient taking care for my medication, my temperature, blood pressure, oxygen. Right after the nurse get out, less than five minutes Dr. Treer came in, and started to show me result for the last test (I've have had an appt for all tests). He explained me everything, and he found only one problem LDL too high, advising me no more medication, but telling me to go to gym every day and besides this to walk outside ass much possible, after that he started to talk about medication and I would need future. The great doctor helped me in past and also on [...]. I can say, on my heart the great doctor and the rest of people, they made my day. Thank you very much.
