Bio
Dr. John Treer served in the United States Army and as a Texas Guard medic prior to earning his medical degree. He has been in practice in the Dallas area since 2000. Dr. Treer is a board-certified internal medicine physician with special interests in prevention-based medicine, immunology and treating cardiovascular disease. He is a member of the American Medical Association and Texas Medical Association.

Sep 2025Dr Treer is knowledgeable and thorough. He considered all the information about my medical issues and formulated a comprehensive plan to address them.Sep 2025Dr. T took a lot of time addressing my multiple health issues. He made changes to my rx's; discontinuing a few. He reviewed bloodwork, CTs, pathology & other info to systematically address each issue. My worst issue was solved in 1 day after having seen a GI specialist for months. He referred me to specialists as needed and recommended OTC meds, followup bloodwork to help sift through the many problems I am currently having.This is the most thorough and caring doctor I've seen in 75 years.Sep 2025I couldn't find the office because I was at Building 100, rather than Suite 100. I called and the front office staff came outside to look for me to guide me to the office. Ha! The Medical Assistant was amazing and caring as well. Right after the nurse get out, less than five minutes Dr. Treer came in, and started to show me result for the last test (I've have had an appt for all tests). He explained me everything, and he found only one problem LDL too high, advising me no more medication, but telling me to go to gym every day and besides this to walk outside ass much possible, after that he started to talk about medication and I would need future. The great doctor helped me in past and also on [...]. I can say, on my heart the great doctor and the rest of people, they made my day. Thank you very much.
