Kimberly Christina Canard, APRN, AGACNP-BC Nurse Practitioner-Acute Carein Fort Worth, TX

Kimberly Canard has been a member of the Texas Health family since 2004. She previously worked in trauma and surgical intensive care nursing, providing neurological and critical care to patients in a Level II trauma center. Kimberly also has experience as a flight nurse for CareFlite. She is certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner and critical care registered nurse.

Kimberly earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. She later returned to school to earn her master's degree in nursing with an emphasis on AGACNP studies at the Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock. Kimberly was a volunteer member of the team that provided medical and surgical relief to Haiti after the devastating earthquake in 2010. She was responsible for coordinating pre- and post-operative care for patients with minimal access to medical equipment.
