Bio

Alexandria (Ali) Gerner found her way to North Texas from Salt Lake City, Utah early in 2024. She previously worked as a certified physician assistant on a burn trauma intensive care unit, where she provided surgical assistance in the operating room and follow-up patient care.

Ali is clinically trained in the field of neurosurgery and qualified to collaborate with physicians both inside and beyond the OR. She earned her bachelor's degree in molecular cell biology from St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind. She earned her master’s degree in global health while attending the University of Notre Dame in Indiana before going on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
