Dr. Angela Downes is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in comprehensive spine care. With advanced fellowship training in minimally invasive and anterior column reconstruction techniques, she treats the full spectrum of spinal pathology, including degenerative disease, complex cervical spine conditions, deformity, trauma-related instability, and vertebral body tumors.
She has particular expertise in cervical spine surgery, including multilevel disease, cervical myelopathy, and upper cervical instability such as C1–2 pathology and odontoid fractures. Her practice incorporates both open and minimally invasive approaches tailored to each patient’s anatomy and goals.
