Shannon Espinola has dedicated her nursing career to caring for critically ill patients with heart, vascular and trauma concerns. She became a registered nurse in 2009. Shannon is also a registered nurse first assistant qualified to provide support in the surgical environment and is certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. She is qualified to diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with a physician.

Shannon graduated with her bachelor's degree in nursing from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Ark. She earned her master's degree in nursing while at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Shannon is a member of the American Associate of Critical-Care Nurses, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, Fort Worth Region Nurse Practitioners, and Texas Nurse Practitioners Association.
