Bio
John Leake, turned his experience in coaching cross country and track into a medical career with the aim of building on his passion for helping student athletes and active individuals stay physically strong and optimize their performance. He has received clinical training in the areas of sports medicine and orthopedic surgery, providing surgical assistance for a variety of replacement, repair, and other procedures. He became certified as a physician assistant in 2024.
Leake graduated Cum Laude from Southern Virginia University in Buena Vista, Va., with a triple major in biochemistry, music, and liberal arts. He earned his Master of Health Sciences degree in Physician Assistant Studies while attending the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. Leake is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates.
