Bio
Born and raised in Louisiana, Jennifer Zahn, M.D., received her medical degree from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, and her masters in public health from Tulane University. After completing a general surgery internship at Methodist Hospital of Dallas, she graduated from her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
With a passion for an active lifestyle, and a devoted interest in restoring her patients’ mobility, Zahn is focused on non-surgical spine treatment and musculoskeletal management. She takes a conservative approach to neck and back care — pursuing non-surgical treatment options such as physical therapy, medication management, and spinal injections to provide relief from pain. When surgery is considered, minimally-invasive techniques are employed whenever possible.
As an expert in non-surgical spine treatment and musculoskeletal management, Zahn joined orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. Michael Catino at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton to form the Neck and Back Center, prior to practicing privately and co-founding North Texas Neck and Back. She offers a unique and effective experience for individuals in the North Texas area.
