Bio
Dr. Suraj Naik has served the Arlington community as a digestive disease specialist and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist since 2012. He also has experience in hospitalist care, serving the health needs of North Texas Veterans. Dr. Naik’s areas of clinical focus include the treatment of liver and pancreatic diseases and prophylactic surgical care to aid in detecting diseases and conditions in their earliest stages.
Early in his career, Dr. Naik spent four years in a research capacity within the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. In addition to his practice, he currently serves as vice chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Naik earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, also in Dallas. He went on to complete his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Naik is an avid reader and history buff. He also enjoys golfing, traveling and skiing in his free time.
