Ann Mary Bates, APRN, AGACNP-BC Nurse Practitioner-Acute Carein Fort Worth, TX

After a 25+-year career as a registered nurse and spending 23 years in trauma intensive care nursing, Ann Mary Bates made the transition to a career as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in 2022. She is also a trauma certified registered nurse and a critical care registered nurse. Ann Mary's areas of experience include advanced trauma and burn intensive care and surgical intensive care. She chose a career in nursing as a way to promote positive outcomes and healing in patients requiring critical and complex care.

Ann Mary graduated Magna Cum Laude with her bachelor's degree in nursing from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. She earned her master's degree in nursing/AGACNP at The University of Texas at Arlington. Ann Mary is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and Society of Trauma Nurses.
