Bio
Dr. Matthew Perryman is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced training in acute care surgery and surgical critical care. His areas of clinical focus include trauma surgery; minimally invasive endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures, including gallbladder removal; and surgical care of orthopedic injuries. Dr. Perryman believes in giving back to the community. In 2023 and 2024, he participated in surgery mission trips to the Philippines as part of the Philippine Gift of Life Foundation, during which he provided pro bono services to patients from numerous area islands.
Dr. Perryman earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri. He completed his general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas before going on to complete fellowships in surgical critical care and acute care surgery at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Dr. Perryman is a Fellow of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Away from the office, Dr. Perryman enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs, playing the drums and percussion instruments, weight training, running and reading.
