Mark Oliver Tucker, MD General Surgeryin Fort Worth, TX

Dr. Mark Tucker is a board-certified general surgeon who has been licensed in the state of Texas since 1999. He currently serves as the Trauma Medical Director for Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. Dr. Tucker previously worked in Acute Care Surgery in the DFW area and has held several clinical teaching positions in Surgery from 2008 to 2023. Throughout his surgical career, he has contributed to performance improvement at both the hospital and hospital system level. His clinical area of focus is laparoscopic, robotic and general surgical techniques for trauma and emergency general surgery.

Dr. Tucker earned his Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his general surgery residency at Christus St. Joseph Hospital in Houston. Dr. Tucker is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as a member of the Dallas County Medical Society, Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and Texas Medical Association.
