After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin and The University of North Texas in Denton with bachelor’s degrees in physics and computer science, respectively, Dr. Cobos went on to pursue his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Cobos completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, La., where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Cobos is a Texas native committed to providing patients with high-quality surgical care. His specialties include advanced laparoscopic surgery and da Vinci® robotic surgery, gastrointestinal endoscopy, sentinel lymph node mapping and wound care.
