Dr. Anand Ganapathy is a vascular surgeon specializing in techniques for open surgery, endovascular therapies, and hybrid procedures. He has more than a decade of clinical, research and leadership experience in the area of vascular surgical care and innovation, having begun his career in 2011 with the Texas Heart Institute in Houston.
Dr. Ganapathy uses minimally invasive endovascular repair, revascularization, and other approaches for the surgical treatment of complex vascular and aortic disease, peripheral vascular trauma, dialysis access, venous disease, and more.
Dr. Ganapathy graduated with his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed an integrated vascular residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He went on to complete a biodesign fellowship in both medical device and human performance innovation, completing scientific research at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif. to apply athletic performance techniques to health solutions for the general population. Dr. Ganapathy’s work has been published in the Journal of Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology, The American Journal of Surgery and the Journal of Vascular Surgery Cases, Innovations and Techniques. He also has a passion for entrepreneurship and medical device development.
