Bio
Dr. Thomas Bell is a native of Longview, Texas but he has spent much of his adult life in North Texas. He is an obstetrician and gynecologist with special interests in high-risk obstetrics and common and complex gynecological surgeries, including laparoscopic and robotic approaches to the care of uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and other gynecological concerns.
Dr. Bell earned his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He completed his Ob/Gyn residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Dr. Bell is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Feb 2026Dr. Bell is a great physician who makes me feel like he really cares about me as a patient. When I have a question or concern about my health, he is great at explaining things in a way that ease my worries. I am glad to call him my doctor and would highly recommend him to anyone else.Feb 2026The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I have had to bring my son to a couple of my appointments and they're very understanding of things that come up with him, including things being slowed down a bit as we move from place to place or as I have to do things like a urine sample. They also open to having questions asked. The scheduling staff is also very helpful and they always try to find a time that will work for me and my schedule.Feb 2026Dr. Bell has done an incredible job taking the time to listen to my concerns and address them. I have a high risk pregnancy and During our first appointment, Dr. Bell asked me what I needed from him during this pregnancy. I told him I needed someone who would take me and my concerns seriously, and he has done that the entire time. I'm so grateful to have him for my doctor and I feel so much more comfortable and confident moving forward in my pregnancy knowing that he's my provider. I feel like it is common for doctors to rush through prenatal appointments, but he has never made me feel rushed or silly when asking lots of questions.Feb 2026Both Dr Bell and his assistant were very patient with all of my questions and concernsJan 2026It's been a lovely experience especially with this being my first baby. I really appreciated his calm demeanor and professionalism. His usual nurse that's with him is also so friendly and nice I enjoyed seeing her but the other younger nurse I saw on my last visit was also friendly and kind.Jan 2026I am very pleased with POC this provider has provided I have improved with my gynecology issues and gotten good feed backJan 2026I expressed my rationale for not getting a mammogram (scheduling issues). Dr Bell recommend I go ahead and get at least the mammogram. The problem is I need the bone density scan, as well, because I have psoriatic arthritis and osteopenia. I did schedule both exam at the same time but Texas Health cancelled my bone density test.
