Rebecca Kolstad Johnson, MD Obstetrics & Gynecologyin Denton, TX

As a board-eligible obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Rebecca Johnson is committed to advancing women's health through clinical excellence, education, and continuous quality improvement. Her interests include advocating for postpartum contraception access and managing obstetric emergencies and gynecologic surgical complications.

Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Nevada - Las Vegas School of Medicine. She completed her OB-GYN residency at Medical City Arlington Hospital in North Texas. During her residency, Dr. Johnson played a key role in creating an environment where residents feel supported and empowered. She also managed the integration and education of medical students, ensuring they received high quality clinical teaching and meaningful hands on experience.

Dr. Johnson also holds certificates in neonatal resuscitation and SonoSim® advanced clinical point of care ultrasound for maternal/fetal care, essentials in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Medical Association, and Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics. When not with her patients, she enjoys knitting/crocheting, baking, and scuba diving.
