Bio
Dr. Antonio Asis became board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology in 1999. In addition to his practice, he serves as medical director of Women's Health at Health Services of North Texas and currently serves as a department chairperson within Texas Health Denton. Dr. Asis uses minimally invasive laparoscopy and robotic-assisted approaches to gynecological surgeries. He has been recognized for excellence in laparoscopic surgical care, along with being designated a Mom Approved Doctor by North Texas Child Magazine.
Dr. Asis earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in New York. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale-New Haven Medical Center in Connecticut. Away from the office, Dr. Asis enjoys participating in triathlons, hiking, skiing and basically anything outdoors. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He speaks fluent Spanish.

Asis listened well to all concerns and questions. Addressed tight blood sugar control with a positive and encouraging attitude, really made me feel comfortable in choosing him as my OB!

Dr. Asis has been my OB since [...] & has delivered two of my children, performed an emergency surgery for an [...] & will deliver my 3rd child. He is so intelligent, kind, caring, & makes me feel comfortable, understood & cared for. During the [...] he was so amazing to me & I begged that he would be the only one performing surgery because I trust him so much. He's been the biggest blessing in our lives to be apart of bringing our children into the world.
