Timothy James Harris, MD

Dr. T. J. Harris served four years in the United States Marine Corps. He deployed twice to Iraq and was awarded multiple meritorious promotions and honors for his leadership and dedication to duty. Upon honorable discharge, he began working as a project manager for an industrial construction company while earning a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from his hometown university, Texas A&M University at Texarkana. He attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he graduated at the top of his class. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas where he was appointed administrative chief and received awards from colleagues and leadership for his teamwork, compassion, and teaching.

He continues his love for providing high-quality, compassionate care for treating disorders involving the hip and knee as part of Texas Hip and Knee Center.
