Bio
An early passion for investigating patients’ health issues using diagnostic testing and evaluation turned into a career in direct patient care for Jared Smith. He became certified as a physician assistant in 2021 and has worked in the area of orthopedics ever since. Jared’s areas of experience include caring for patients with acute and chronic hip and knee disorders, providing first surgical support in the operating room, peri- and post-operative medicine, orthopedic oncology, and administering intra articular injections for arthritis and other conditions.
Jared earned his bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. He graduated with his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Midland. Jared is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
