Jimmy Callahan's decades-long career has been focused in the areas of orthopedics and neurosurgery, with experience ranging from surgical assistance on complex cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine procedures to administering injection therapies to promote movement. He has lived and worked in the Fort Worth area since beginning his medical career in 1987 as an operating room staff nurse.
Jimmy is certified as a family nurse practitioner in addition to being a registered nurse first assistant. He has dedicated his career to providing a quality, holistic approach to patient care. Jimmy earned his master's degree in nursing at Chamberlain University College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Ill. He is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurses Association and Association of Operating Room Nurses.

I seriously do not understand why no one has asked me to walk for them?!? Fir a spine injury the goal is walking & sitting. My first 2) follow up appointments were with Troy. I was walking like a robot. It was very strange. Finally by month four I can bend ankles. I do walk with a slushing . Sitting also hurts. But I am really trying. Getting a new mri regarding nerve damage on my right leg. Making walking so difficult. Its very painful. Jimmy is a very kind man. Mannerly too. This injury is from a work injury 12 -! Year's ago. I have no complaints about any of the staff. Everyone does an excellent job. It makes me feel that I am heard and they explain everything. Can Cannot ask for a better staff, just my opinion
