Dr. Syed Hasan has been a trusted resource for digestive care in North Texas since 2015, primarily serving the Carrollton and surrounding communities. He is board-certified and fellowship-trained in gastroenterology. Dr. Hasan’s clinical interests include the treatment of acute and chronic liver disease, inflammatory bowel diseases and functional abdominal disorders. He is skilled in performing upper endoscopies and colonoscopies, along with other advanced and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Dr. Hasan earned his medical degree from the Texas A&M University Health Science Center in Bryan. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship through the Baylor Scott & White Health system in Temple, Texas. Dr. Hasan also holds a master’s degree in public health that he earned while attending the Texas A&M University Health Science Center. His public health approach to medicine has earned him a place in the Gold Humanism Honor Society since 2013.
Dr. Hasan is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. He is fluent in the Urdu languages.
