Courtney Karolyn Barton, MD Family Medicinein Bartonville, TX

Dr. Courtney Barton is a Denton native with a career rooted in family medicine. She began her work in 2004 providing student health services at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. In 2006, she returned home to North Texas, where she has continued to serve patients in a primary care setting as a board-certified family physician ever since.

Known for her commitment to excellence, Dr. Barton has been recognized multiple times for delivering quality diabetes care. She graduated with her medical degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock. She also completed her family medicine residency at TTUHSC.

Dr. Barton is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and Texas Medical Association. Beyond the clinic, she is all about family and creative endeavors. She enjoys movie nights, reading, playing piano, singing in her church choir, and cheering her teenage children on as they compete on the soccer field.
