Melissa Tyson has been a registered nurse since 2006, working primarily in the area of women's health. She began her career in Shreveport, La., before setting down roots in North Texas in 2009. She returned to the classroom in 2020 to earn her advanced nursing degree and certification as a family nurse practitioner.

NP Tysons medical assistant was new at the practice (3 weeks maybe) but handled the intake questions and exam very competently. I could tell that he had been well trained.

NP Tyson is exceptionally kind, engaging and gentle in her words and "voicing concerns" about my health challenges. She was helpful with her suggestions and very knowledgable on the options I was considering.
