Dr. Maria Laura Shehan was great asking me questions about my preferences before giving very direct recommendations (which I requested). I felt that I had a lot of voice in my treatment plan and that she had lots of options to choose from and was willing to make those recommendations based on the approach I preferred. She also has previous personal experience with my condition, and she was willing to share what worked best for her situation.
