Bio
Dr. Niteesh Chitturu is board-certified in internal medicine and fellowship-trained in cardiovascular diseases. His clinical interests include the treatment of coronary artery disease and heart failure and diagnostic care to promote heart health. Dr. Chitturu is also a devoted researcher and presenter in the field of cardiology. He spent more than a decade in the Midwest before setting down roots in North Texas in 2024.
Dr. Chitturu earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular diseases fellowship at Saint Louis University Hospital in Missouri. Dr. Chitturu is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and American Medical Association. When not caring for patients, he enjoys dancing, singing, traveling, and learning about science and history.

Doctor is a young man, I am 82, and I got the impression that was his vantage point. I want to live for as long as I can but at 82 my time is limited so I'm being realistic. I'm not a candidate for major changes in lifestyle nor do I see the point in having extensive treatment like echocardiograms to tell me something I'd be better off not being aware of.
