Bio

Dr. Shriya Doreswamy knew as a teen that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine after watching her mother struggle for years without a clear diagnosis for her rheumatoid arthritis. She became board-certified as an internal medicine physician in 2024. Her areas of clinical focus include specialty care for the ear, nose and throat due to her prior residency and training in ENT in India, and prevention and management of infectious and rare diseases. Dr. Doreswamy is a strong advocate for cancer and other preventative screening, especially in underserved populations. She also has a passion for providing quality heart and primary care services that help better her patients' overall health.

Dr. Doreswamy earned her medical degree in India and completed her internal medicine residency at Einstein Medical Center in Montgomery, Pa. She speaks multiple languages, including Hindi, Kannada and Tamil.

Dr. Doreswamy took time to listen and respond to my questions and concerns during my initial visit to her practice. Booking new patient appointments required a longer wait time than I had expected, but perhaps that's because there's high demand for her services.

I arrived early and was called back before my scheduled appointment time. The nurse came in straight away taking my vitals and asking all the questions. She left and the doctor came in after a bit of a wait. She was not late but on schedule. I was early! We discussed some test results etc. It was overall a very good experience.
