Bio
Dr. Kristen Vallery has been a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist since 2007. She began her career as an Ob/Gyn in Lansing, Mich. and set down roots in the Bedford community in 2008. Dr. Vallery also has served as an assistant professor in the School of Medicine for the University of North Texas-Southern Methodist University since 2019. She is especially passionate about helping women through the childbirth experience, from pregnancy through postpartum care, including focusing on preterm labor and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).
Dr. Vallery earned her medical degree while attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School/Parkland Hospital in Dallas. She served as chief resident during her final year in residency. Dr. Vallery is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and the Tarrant County Medical Society.

Dr. Vallery was extremely kind, provided great explanations of everything, and the appointment did not feel rushed like I have felt at other Obgyn offices. She worked me in to her already full schedule to ease my worries due to symptoms I was having, which was extremely compassionate. I am so grateful to be under the care of her and her staff.

Dr Vallery was my OBGYN during my first pregnancy in which I had an unexpected premature and complicated delivery. She has been so patient and takes her time to answer every one of my questions with so much intention. If it was not for the trust I have with her, I would likely not have the courage to go through that process again. This last visit was to examine me as I am newly pregnant with my second baby. She walked me through all options and her staff was all super caring. From the person who first scheduled my appointment all while easing my emotions, to the lab personnel who made it easy to distract me during lab work. The sonographer was also incredible by taking her time to show me my healthy baby and checked every detail and walked us through what we were seeing. And finally Dr Vallerys assistant was so kind and made the whole visit seamless. We are grateful to Dr Vallery and her staff!

An excellent clinician who respects the patient and takes time to make sure I'm comfortable and understand my options. I felt empowered and grateful to have my doctor help me make decisions about my health.
