Janelle Louise Anderson, APRN, AGACNP-BC Nurse Practitioner-Acute Carein Hickory Creek, TX

As a clinician, Janelle Anderson is most passionate about forming one-on-one relationships with her patients with the aim of helping them feel better and stay well. She has been a registered nurse since 2005 and has served the health care needs of North Texans since 2009. She became board-certified as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in 2016. Janelle is also working toward her certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She is experienced in a variety of disciplines, including adult/geriatric medicine, diabetes care, gastroenterology, stroke trauma support and end-of-life care.

Janelle received her undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She earned her master's degree in nursing from Walden University, based out of Minneapolis, Minn. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association and Texas Nurses Association. When not with her patients, Janelle enjoys attending football games for her two sons, baking with her daughter, and spending time with her husband and their 18-year-old cat.
