He showed a genuine interest in their experience and emotions. It may seem small, but the psychiatrist we saw the day before never once engaged with our child or asked for their perspective. As parents, we deeply appreciate that Dr. Hames took the time to personally check in with them.This entire journey-getting our child assessed for ADHD, navigating treatment options, and adjusting medications-has felt overwhelming at times. Throughout it all, Dr. Hames has been exceptionally supportive. He has patiently walked us through available treatments, stayed in close communication about medication updates, and-most importantly-made sure our child's voice is heard.
