Bio
When Andrew Augsburger’s twin brother developed a seizure disorder as a teen, Andrew vowed to never be helpless in a medical emergency again. He became passionate about understanding disease and treatment, and later went on to earn his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at The University of Texas at Arlington. He also has an undergraduate degree in social work, which he earned in 2010 at Harding University in Searcy, Ark.
Andrew began his career as a registered nurse in 2015. He is certified as a family nurse practitioner. Working in the primary care setting, Andrew enjoys being able to build relationships with patients over extended periods of time. Away from the office, he and his wife enjoy attending their children’s school and sports events and exploring new foods. He also likes to run (slowly).
