Kelsi Memory Hinely Smith, APRN, FNP-C Nurse Practitioner-Familyin Denton, TX

Kelsi Smith's interest in nursing began at an early age but it peaked when she had the opportunity to volunteer at a local hospital as a high school student. She went on to have a rewarding career as a trauma/ER registered nurse before transitioning into the area of gastroenterology in 2017. Kelsi became interested in family medicine during her clinical rotation and certified as a family nurse practitioner in 2025. She is passionate about working collaboratively with physicians to form long-term relationships with patients through preventative care and healthy-lifestyle education.

Kelsi graduated Cum Laude with her bachelor's degree in nursing from the Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock. She earned her master's degree in nursing from Texas Woman's University in Denton. Kelsie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, getting outside, exercising and being a foodie.
