Bio
Lauren Alvarado began her medical career in 2015 as a pediatric registered nurse in the Lubbock, Texas area before setting down roots in North Texas. While working, Lauren completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing, which she earned Summa Cum Laude from the Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She went on to work as a registered nurse in the Fort Worth Independent School District while earning her Masters of Science in Nursing degree with honors from The University of Texas at Arlington. Lauren became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020.
Lauren’s nurse practitioner clinical experience includes mental health, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and urgent care. She places a priority on the early detection of acute illnesses, identifying at-risk patients and advocating for the well-being of the entire community from infants to the most senior. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association and Texas Nurses Association.

I was kindly moved to a 2pm appt and I was in and out in less than 20 min. I then drove to my pharmacy and picked up my medication within another 20 min and I was asleep by 2:45pm.
