Since returning to Texas in August 2025, I have had an unusual number of medical events. In spite of my 80 years, I have enjoyed exceptionally good mental and physical health. This TH facility is near my home and was an obvious first choice for medical services. Much to my surprise and delight, every encounter, whether on the first or second floor, by telephone or in person, has been incredibly professional, friendly, and caring. I have not encountered a single employee who has demonstrated anything but courtesy, respect, and caring. This environment eliminates trepidation and hesitation when needing medical attention at Texas Health.

My only experience with the walk-in clinic centered around an extremely bad fall on my hardwood floor. The injuries required examination and x-rays. Due to a snafu with a recent software update, the technician was unable to take the x-rays. While he and other personnel were frustrated at the inability to complete the service, they asked if I could return the following day or go to Envision. I was quite ambulatory and chose to return to TH the next day. As instructed, I called TH the next day and was informed the system had been successfully updated and to come in asap. When I arrived, my check-in was quite expedient. I walked into the examining area, spoke with another medical provider, and the machine was ready for me to take the x-rays. While I have no propensity for frequent trips to an ER or Urgent Care, when I do need immediate help, I would have no hesitation to go to the Texas Health location on Boat Club Road. They have earned my confidence and respect.

He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, explained things in a way that was easy to understand, and never made me feel rushed. It's rare these days to find a medical provider who combines knowledge, patience, and compassion so well. I truly appreciated the follow-up call and the attention he gave to my situation.
