Bio
Being able to connect with patients at various stages in their health journey is what drew Joshua Patterson to family medicine. He is especially passionate about working collaboratively with his patients to improve their health. Joshua has served North Texans as a certified physician assistant since 2010. He is experienced in all aspects of acute primary care and urgent care.
Joshua graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with his bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science. He earned his master’s degree in physician assistant studies at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Jul 2025I can be doctor adverse and have had unfavorable experiences in the past. At this point, Joshua Patterson might be my favorite Dr/PA to discuss issues with, He listens, shows kindness , and provides sound treatment while being honest and respectful. I have liked other PAs at this location as well, but I feel extra comfortable with him and have recommended that my husband make his next appointment with him. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others for general practice care. It is also frictionless to get a proper referral from him for specialists.Jul 2025This office has always been seamless for me from reception, to nurse assistant, to PA, to tests, to checkout. I have bo complaints, I loathe going to doctor appointments, but my experience in this new location has been painless and irritation-free. I also like that many tests can be performed in-house and same day.Jul 2025Dr. Patterson is a careful, thoughtful physician who listens to my concerns, suggests relevant treatment options, and explains those options.
