Romil Inocencio Amar, APRN, AGPCNP-BC Nurse Practitioner-Primary Carein Dallas, TX

Romil Amar is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of nursing experience. As the first AGPCNP to be accepted into the VA North Texas Health Care System's primary care NP residency program, Romil is known for his leadership skills and his focus on collaborating with physicians and other health care providers. He began his U.S. nursing career in the Brownsville, Texas community in 1994 and has gained extensive experience in the areas of cardiac and stroke care, orthopedics and primary care.

Romil earned his bachelor's degree in nursing from St. Paul University Iloilo in the Philippines. He graduated with his master's degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington before going on to complete the nurse practitioner residency program. Romil is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners organization.
