Lori A Farneti, APRN, CNM Advanced Practice Midwifein Fort Worth, TX

Certified nurse-midwife Lori Farneti has been helping women on their health and maternity journeys since 2004. She is passionate about providing the full scope of midwifery care, from supporting high-risk pregnancies and labor preparation to antepartum and postpartum care and breastfeeding. Lori , in collaboration with her supervising physician, also provides comprehensive OB/GYN services, including well-woman exams, contraception management and genetic counseling. She began her nursing career in 1996. In addition to her in-depth clinical experience, she also has served as a maternity clinical instructor at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and participated in follow-up research regarding Gardasil vaccination for the human papillomavirus.

Lori earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Mennonite College of Nursing in Bloomington, Ill. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with her master's degree in nursing. Lori is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and Texas Certified Nurse-Midwives. When not catching babies, she enjoys reading, bike riding and hiking with her kids. She also loves watching her daughters play competitive soccer.
