Melissa Tyson has been a registered nurse since 2006, working primarily in the area of women's health. She began her career in Shreveport, La., before setting down roots in North Texas in 2009. She returned to the classroom in 2020 to earn her advanced nursing degree and certification as a family nurse practitioner.
Melissa earned her undergraduate degree in nursing at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La.
