Melissa Ann Wilson, APRN, FNP-C Nurse Practitioner-Familyin Keller, TX

Melissa Wilson has cared for North Texans as a registered nurse since 2013. She is experienced in collaborating with physicians on everything from emergency, pre-operative and post-anesthesia care to diagnostic procedures and discharge education and coordination.

Melissa has participated in three medical mission trips to Antigua, Guatemala, during which she helped care for patients undergoing a variety of unique and complex surgical procedures with physician support. She earned her certification as a family nurse practitioner in 2023. She enjoys educating and connecting with patients in both English and Spanish and holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish.

Melissa earned an additional bachelor's degree in nursing, graduating Cum Laude from the Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock. She received her master's degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington while continuing to work part-time as a nurse at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth during the COVID-19 pandemic. Melissa is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners organization. Away from the office, she serves on the Safety Medical Ministry Team at the church where she has been a long-time member and finds any excuse to spend time outdoors with her family.
